The Riddell Report

Riddell:  "The name speaks for itself."

"Do you think Vinnny Testaverde, Randy Moss, and Jim Everett would be caught sleeping without the best football equipment that football has to offer?"  If you said no then your right, because Riddell football protection has set the precedent when it comes to quality head and shoulder gear.

The name Riddell rings bells from youth leagues to the NFL.  You don't even have to be a fan of football to notice.  Pull up to any park or stadium and the name Riddell will be there front and center .

Riddell football protection has evolved throughout the years to accomodate athletes in the brutal game of football.  "Come on, let's be honest."  No one takes a beating like American football players.  And that's the reason why we love it so much.  It's just the culture that we live in.

Players have gotten bigger, stronger, and faster as time has went on.  Concussions now, more than ever, have became more frequent in the sport of football.  Which is why Riddell has produced such helmets as the Revolution Speed, and the Revolution Edge, with built-in concussion reduction technology.

As the game of football continues to evolve, so will Riddell football protection.  Adequate protection is vital due to the speed of the game.  Extensive research on head trauma will be one of the main focuses of the Riddell research team, to make sure that all of our youth and professional athletes have proper protection.  And to assure that there is life after football.

Clark Wallabees Kid

In case you haven't heard, let me give you the lowdown on Clark Wallabees footwear.  These abstract, versatile shoes were originated in Somerset England, in 1865, by James Clark.  Focusing solely on comfort; Clarks Wallabees stands out from any other shoe in the boot industry!  Clark Wallabees line the foot for instant comfortability; taking away from the break-in period.  "Yep you heard me correctly!"  Just slip them on, lace'em up, and go the grocery store, to the mall, to church, to work....you get the picture.

Clarks Wallabees scream individuality.  If you like to "go against the grain" and express yourself to "your" liking, then Wallabees just may be the shoe for you.  If you notice in the picture above; Wallabees only have 6 eyelets unlike traditional boots who have up to 14.  This is not coincidence.  The more eyelets and buckles... the more discomfort.  Consider Clarks Wallabees more of a "foot cover."

Clarks Wallabees is a unisex shoe that doesn't discriminate.  "How man shoe styles out their do you know that accomodate both men and women?"  Only the genius of James Clark would have thought of something so simple, yet brilliant at the same time.

Women today are wising up, and taking a load off of their feet.  Clarks Wallabees, are in some instances, taking the place of those dreaded high (hills).  Yes.  I know how to spell (heel).  "I was simply thinking out loud."  It must be torture having to walk in "heels" for a long period of time.  Bad posture is what's contributing to your lower back pain and discomfort.

Unlike the traditional rubber soles used on many of todays shoes.  Wallabees are made of plantation crepe soles, which never wear, and provide superior foot cushioning!   Durability and comfort are two of the main reasons why since 1996; I've been a Clarks Wallabees Kid!!!!

Aaron Rodgers dismantles Falcons secondary

At the start of the game everything was going well.  Stephen Nicholas strips Greg Jennings after he splits 2 defenders, on his way for a big gain.  Capitalizing off of the fumble, the Atlanta Falcons put 7 up on the board.

On the next drive is when Aaron Rodgers began to pick the Atlanta secondary apart. "Methodically dismantling the defense!  Taking his time...making it look so easy."

But wait!  On the next drive Eric Weems returns the kickoff 100 something odd yards for a touchdown.  Taking the lead 14-7.

Then I began to think. "Wait, The Atlanta Falcons just may win this game."

I guess that's what I get for thinking. Worse fears confirmed..the Falcons secondary was exploited.  "Ask Christopher Owens."

Man, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers went on to win 48-21.

"So much for home field advantage."

To cheer myself up, I posted pictures of the Falcons-Packers game of the regular seasons.  When the Falcons actually won.

Congratulations Cam Newton and the 2011 Auburn Tigers!!!

The Auburn Tigers defeat the Oregon Ducks 22-19; for the 2011 Tostitos BCS National Championship!  I must give credit where credit is due.  Despite all of the controversy the Auburn Tigers have been through this year, they still maintained focus.  Media outlets throughout the sports world tried their best to scandalize Cam Newton and the Auburn program, but head coach Gene Chizik and staff kept their eyes on the prize.

Auburns' defensive front; led by Nick Fairley, dominated the line of scrimmage for 4 quarters.  Fairley led the Auburn defense with 5 tackles for loss, and 1 sack.  True freshmen Michael Dyer rushed for 143 yards and  kicker Wes Byrum sealed the deal with a  game-winning field goal, that broke a 19-19 tie in the fourth quarter.

Being a Georgia Bulldog fan; I must say that I envy those Auburn Tigers.  They played a grueling schedule in the SEC and despite a 37 day wait.  The Auburn Tigers came to Arizona and shut down the highest scoring offense in college football.

"What did you expect from the "toughest" conference in college football !?"

The Atlanta Falcons win the NFC South!!!!

Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders

The Atlanta Falcons finished the season 13-3; finishing at the top of the NFC South.  With a balanced running and passing attack the Atlanta Falcon have been hard to beat this year.  No dinkin' and dunkin' just hardnose-smashmouth football.

Roddy White has been a big "asset" for the Falcons this year, with 115 receptions for 1,389 yards.  On the defensive side of the ball, John Abraham leads the team in sacks with 13 sacks.

If the Falcons continue to wear teams down with their offensive attack, and keep applying pressure on  the defensive side of the ball. Their is no reason they shouldn't win the NFC, or maybe even become Super Bowl Champions.  Sounds good to me.

 GO FALCONS!!!!!

The Jumbotron man.  He wouldn't put us on because there were Carolina fans behind us.

Those girls know how to shake it.
